Day 66: Back Home

Bishop, CA

Today’s the day. I am finally back with my trail family. Well, half of it at least. Dr. McDirty and Cougar are currently in San Francisco, but I was able to rejoin Glowworm in Bishop after my hospitalization and family visit in Visalia. My Uncle Russ was gracious enough to drive me the five hours from my cousin’s house to the hostel in Bishop and was so stoked to finally be back, even though I’m not getting back on the trail right away. 

After chilling out at the hostel all afternoon and taking a nap Glowworm and I headed over to a local brewery for some delicious tacos and beer. Tomorrow we’re going to get a ride with Eastern Sierra Transit from Bishop to Lake Tahoe for a week’s vacation from our vacation. Looking forward to taking some time away from the trail.
