Day 19: Trail Magic With A Side Of Dumpster And Couch

Mile 235.47 Campsite to Mile 256.18 Arrastre Trail Camp

Started hiking at 5:30 this morning and hiked with Maurice from Switzerland for a bit before stopping for a snack. I then hiked alone until 11:00 when I stopped for lunch. At mile 253 there was trailmagic with cookies and headed on to camp. We’re definitely in a new group of people now, though. There’s a few Danish guys, a German, a Swede, a Swiss guy and several women in their 20’s. They started on the 16th, but they’ve been doing big miles that I haven’t been wanting to do. I have been thinking about ramping up the miles to around 20 after Big Bear.
